Wetland Adventures in Burns Bog

Children aged 6-12 are invited to spend a week exploring the Delta Nature Reserve, the only part of Burns Bog that is open to the public.

Monday – Friday, 9am-3pm
$100 for one week
$80 for each sibling

July 7-11 (age 6-9)
July 14-18 (age 10-12)
July 21-25 (age 6-9)
July 28-Aug 1 (age 6-9)
*Aug 5-8 (age 10-12)
Aug 11-15 (age 6-9)

*$80 for short week
*$64 for each sibling

Children will:

• learn basic first aid and survival skills
• learn about special bog plants,
• make a bog berry salad,
• bounce on the spongy peat,
• track animals and look for their homes,
• visit the sunken tractor,
• play games and do crafts,
• study habitats, communities and ecosystems,

and lots more!

Pick up and drop off at Great Pacific Forum, Planet Ice, 10388 Nordel Court, Delta, BC

Location:      Weather permitting, most activities will be held outside in the Delta Nature Reserve. Indoor facilities are provided at the Great Pacific Forum.

What to bring: Backpack, Lunches and snacks (no peanut products), water bottle, hat and sunscreen. Please wear sensible clothing and closed toed shoes.
