If you’re looking for a fundraising opportunity that you can do yourself then look no further. There have been all sorts of ideas put forward over the years, please feel free to try one out. You could try any of these and then make a donation to the Burns Bog Conservation Society. If you’ve come up with a new idea and want to let us know please do so!

• Holding a garage sale. Get rid of all the excess stuff you’ve got floating around.
• Bake sale. Bake up your favourite delicious treats, convince some friends to do the same, make it a party.
• Bottle drive. Get rid of those empty bottles and cans hanging around your home and help the neighbours do the same.
• Penny Drive. A handful of loose change might not seem like much but multiply by a number of people and the results are amazing.
• Penalty Jar. Got a bad habit you want to break? Make a penalty jar. Chuck in a dollar, or more we don’t mind, every time you swear, leave on a light, miss a workout, or indulge in any other habit you’re trying to break.
