The Companies and People who made the Summer Day Camp Possible

Dragon art

Ron Stevens of Rogest Studios designed the artwork for our summer day camp T-shirts, including the hangtags. He not only donated his artwork to us, but he gave us this splendid dragon.

In our gift shop at our offices on Scott Road, we have some Rogest posters for sale, or you can buy them online from our website.

You can buy other environmental prints from the Rogest website or visit the Rogest Studio Gallery to find out about Ron’s exclusive artwork.

Another of our sponsors is the Delta Firefighters’ Charitable Society. The Firefighters have been helping the Burns Bog Conservation Society since 2003 and we are very grateful to them. Delta Firefighters' Charitable Society The Charitable Society has been around and helping other local charities like our own, since 1994 – almost as long as we’ve been defending the bog!

Visit their website and learn more about them.

The folks at Planet Ice are good to us all year round. We’re lucky enough to be able to run our Jog for the Bog/International Bog Day event every year in their parking lot. They put up with hundreds of our supporters coming through their space for our Pilgrimage, Field Trips, Public Tours, Community Group Tours and Summer Day Camps. Without their goodwill – well I don’t know where we’d be, so thank-you Planet Ice!

Our friends at TD Friends of the Environment, Surrey Chapter, have sponsored our day camps for several years. Without their generosity, we wouldn’t be able to give all our campers T-shirts and buy craft and science supplies.

TD Friends of the Environment also allowed us to present copies of our Teachers’ Guide, ‘For Peat’s Sake’ to every school in Delta, Surrey and Richmond.

The TD Friends of the Environment website shows all the great work they are doing across the country.
